Pay Rate: £90-105 (dependent on experience)
Location: Salford
Position: Teaching/Learning Support Assistant (TA/LSA)
Contract Type: Full & Part Time as well as Sickness Cover
Hours: 8:30-3:30 Mon-Fri
Start Date: ASAP
As a teaching assistant with Axcis you will:
• Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the students you will be working with.
• Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Support the class teacher.
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
• Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
• Support with subjects such as functional skills.
About this setting:
• Consistent OFSETD outstanding setting
• Have mixed cohorts of SEND, including but not limited too- ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) , ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and Down's Syndrome.
• Offer a mixture of academic and vocational courses as well as functional skills
