SEND Teaching Assistant – ADHD & Behaviour Support – Coventry Area
Location: Coventry
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is looking for a behaviour-focused Teaching Assistant to support a student with ADHD and behavioural challenges in a secondary setting. You’ll be part of a supportive pastoral team with a focus on inclusion and routine.
The Role:
You will:
• Work 1:1 with a student needing structure and behaviour support
• Encourage focus and task completion during lessons
• Use praise and incentives to reinforce positive behaviour
• Act as a role model and trusted adult
About You:
• Experience supporting ADHD or behaviour in school or youth settings
• Skilled at de-escalation and redirection techniques
• Able to set clear expectations and maintain routines
• Strong rapport-building skills
