SEND Teaching Assistant – Communication & Language Support
Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
We are working with a school in Leamington to find a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil with speech, language, and communication difficulties. This is a long-term role ideal for someone who is confident supporting SLCN interventions.
The Role:
You will:
• Support a pupil with delayed expressive and receptive language
• Use PECS, visual supports, and SALT-guided strategies
• Encourage communication in the classroom and during play
• Provide detailed feedback to support reviews and target setting
About You:
• Experience with SLCN or communication needs
• Clear communicator with good listening skills
• Able to adapt communication to suit learner needs
• Patient and consistent in approach
