Description

Are you ready to take the next step in your education career? We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join a specialist Further Education provision in the heart of Bath. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who have autismand learning disabilities, helping them thrive both in a dedicated SEN centre and in the wider college community – including construction, mechanics and animal care.

This role is open to confident graduates, experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, youth workers, sports coaches and support workers who are looking for meaningful work supporting vulnerable young people. You must hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree, but you do not need a PGCE – making this an ideal step into teaching for those who are keen to lead classes and inspire students.

The college has been praised in its most recent Ofsted report for creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Students benefit from a unique blend of academic study, practical training and tailored SEN support, and you will play a key role in guiding them to reach their potential.

You’ll need energy, patience and a genuine commitment to helping every young person succeed. It’s less about your previous job title and more about your values, motivation and ability to connect with students. If you have led groups, coached, mentored or supported learners, you could be the perfect fit.

Start date: ASAP (initial 16-week settling-in period before permanent placement)

Hours: Full-time, part-time or flexible (bank/supply)

Pay: Negotiated on experience. Anywhere between £18.50 to £40 per hour (higher end would be for qualified SEN Teachers)

Times: 8:30am–3:30pm or 8:30am–4:30pm

If you are passionate about making a difference and ready to step up as a class lead, apply today to be considered for this role.
