Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Clapham)
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives? A vibrant primary school in Clapham is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our incredible students.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and challenging behaviours. The role also involves providing personal care to ensure all students receive the support they need in a safe, inclusive environment.

Position Details:
-Location: Clapham
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 4:45 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support SEND students in their learning, development, and daily activities.
- Assist with personal care when needed to ensure students’ well-being.
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours with a compassionate approach.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualised support plans.
- Encourage and promote student independence, fostering confidence and achievement.

Role Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role supporting children with SEND.
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
