Key Information
•Pay: £14.25-£15.50 p/h, depending on years of experience and equalisations.
•Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 3:00pm
•Start Date: September 2026, temp to perm.
About the Role:
Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively with school life.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Supporting student with a wide range of SENd needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
•Assisting with classroom activities and learning tasks
•Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
•Helping to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment
About the School:
This Torbay-based school supports students aged 2–16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to SEND and complex needs.
