SEN Teaching Assistant – Part-Time / Supply / Bank | Walton-on-Thames, Surrey
We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive nursery and primary school in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, supporting pupils aged 3–11.
This is a flexible part-time, supply / bank staff opportunity, with working hours typically 8:00am – 4:00pm, ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexibility while supporting pupils with additional needs.

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
Support pupils to access learning and participate in classroom activities
Help develop pupils’ confidence, communication and independence
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Adapt support according to individual pupil needs
Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide consistent care and learning support
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary or SEN setting
Experience supporting children with SEN is preferred
A patient, calm and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to different pupils and classroom environments
Commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
