Axcis are the leaders in SEND suppliers across England and Wales and we are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to support children and young people with special educational needs across the Wigan area.
We are looking for teaching assistants with experience working in an education or care setting and with a range of special educational needs. In this role you will be supporting children on both a 1-1 and group basis within the classroom and assisting them in accessing the curriculum to the best of their ability.
What we offer:
• Full-time positions across a range of primary, secondary and SEND settings
• Daily rates starting from £89 per day
• A range of training courses through the national college for CPD
• Immediate starts available
What you will need:
• An enhanced DBS certificate – if not, we can assist with applying for one.
• A minimum of 6 months working with SEND in an education or care setting (3 months MUST be in the UK for overseas candidates).
• A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
The ability to commute via driving is preferable due to the remote access for some of our schools, however candidates who are happy to commute via public transport are welcome to apply too. All candidates must be able to reliably commute within Wigan and the surrounding areas.
