SEND Teaching Assistant | Chorley area | from £89 per day | Full-time and Part-time

Axcis are a specialist SEND education agency that are currently recruiting teaching assistants with special educational needs experience to support children and young people across the Chorley area.
We are looking for teaching assistants with experience working in an education or care setting and with a range of special educational needs. In this role you will be supporting children on both a 1-1 and group basis within the classroom and assisting them in accessing the curriculum to the best of their ability.
What we offer:
• Flexibility to suit your needs - Full-time is preferred but part-time opportunities are also available.
• Daily rates starting from £89 per day.
• A range of training courses through the national college for CPD
What you will need:
• An enhanced DBS certificate – if not, we can assist with applying for one.
• A minimum of 6 months working with SEND in an education or care setting (3 months must be in the UK for overseas candidates).
• A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
As some of the schools we work with are not easily accessible by public transport, candidates ideally need to be able to drive. All candidates must be able to reliably commute within Chorley and the surrounding areas.
