Description
We are representing an international law firm with a global presence across jurisdictions including the BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, London, and Singapore. The firm is currently seeking a Senior Finance Administrator to support the daily operations of their Finance team. Working closely with the Senior Finance Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the wider global partnership through high-level operational and departmental duties.
What you’ll be doing:
• Postings & AML Compliance: Ensuring the timely posting of cash receipts and completing essential anti-money laundering checks on new payors in line with company policy.
• Bank Reconciliations: Uploading and resolving all bank reconciliations within the practice management system (Aderant).
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Managing supplier invoices, staff expenses, and preparing BACS payments, while also resolving daily enquiries through the Finance Helpdesk.
• Billing & Reporting: Preparing invoices for practice groups, running WIP and debtor reports, and maintaining accurate records within the management system.
• Operational Finance: Posting and reconciling corporate credit card transactions and managing client accounts in full compliance with group policies and legal requirements.
• Property Team Support: Assisting with weekly considerations specifically related to property transactions.
What you bring to the firm:
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a professional services environment.
• A solid understanding of core accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Previous experience using practice management systems such as Aderant is advantageous.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and consistently meet deadlines during busy periods.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
