Description

Our client is a well-established Guernsey-based financial and fiduciary services provider, offering a broad range of wealth management, investment, fund administration and fiduciary services.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Fund & Investment Administrator to support their fund and investment operations. This is a varied role covering fund valuations, shareholder administration, investment dealing, regulatory reporting and ongoing client servicing.

The position is permanent and works on a 35-hour week.
Key Responsibilities
• Process shareholder transactions and review account opening documentation and Client Due Diligence.
• Prepare and check weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual fund valuations.
• Review Investment Adviser trade recommendations against fund investment restrictions.
• Liaise with fund custodians, auditors and other external parties.
• Process shareholder and fund fee payments and complete bank reconciliations.
• Carry out shareholder file and risk reviews.
• Check trade orders prior to authorisation and place trades for trust and company clients.
• Process trade payments, dividend reinvestments and cash dividend payments.
• Maintain security pricing and internal investment records.
• Prepare and check fund regulatory returns and FATCA/CRS reporting.
• Complete AML documentation for Fund Managers.
• Prepare administration reports for inclusion in fund Board packs.
• Assist with regulatory requirements and wider project work.
• Monitor and manage central investment email communications.

About You
Our client is looking for someone with:
• A minimum of three years' fund administration experience.
• Strong numerical skills and a good understanding of accruals and prepayments.
• Previous experience with fund valuations and investment administration.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including the use of formulas.
• Good general spreadsheet and PC skills.

An ICA or Guernsey Offshore Certificate would be advantageous, although relevant fund administration experience is the key requirement.
