Our client is an established, independent provider of private wealth and corporate administration services, with a strong international presence.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to support operational projects, risk management and business transformation across their Channel Islands operations and wider Group.
This is a varied, senior-level position suited to someone who combines strong Trust and Company experience with commercial awareness, sound judgement and the ability to deliver meaningful operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead operational projects and transformation initiatives.
• Review working practices and introduce improvements to processes and controls.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Group Risk Framework.
• Manage operational risk across the Channel Islands business.
• Identify trends and emerging issues through the analysis of risk reporting.
• Oversee root-cause analysis and remedial action following errors or breaches.
• Improve the quality, consistency and reporting of key business data.
• Explore opportunities for automation and the development of Centres of Excellence.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, risk consultants and other third-party providers.
• Support regulatory visits and contribute to relevant policies and procedures committees.
• Prepare clear technical reports and presentations.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues while encouraging continuous development.
About You
You will ideally have:
• At least five years’ experience in a relevant senior position.
• A relevant professional qualification.
• Strong Trust and Company experience.
• Experience within the private wealth or corporate services sector.
• Cross-jurisdictional operational experience.
• A broad understanding of operational, regulatory, data security and people-related risks.
• Experience managing projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• The ability to write clear technical reports.
• Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Excel.
• Strong presentation, coaching and mentoring skills.
