A leading independent provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration and yacht services is seeking a Senior Tax Administrator to join its Corporate Services team. This is a full-time, office-based role offering the chance to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, servicing a wide range of international clients. This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey or London.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for providing tax services to a portfolio of fiduciary clients, including the preparation of UK and Guernsey tax reporting requirements, tax returns, and responding to tax-related queries. The role also involves reviewing trust and company accounts, preparing fee quotes, liaising with clients and colleagues, and assisting with training junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of UK income & corporation tax returns, capital gains tax returns, ATED returns, and Guernsey income tax returns
• Review of trust and company accounts
• Assist with UK inheritance tax returns
• Prepare correspondence with settlors and beneficiaries regarding tax reporting
• Liaise with internal teams and respond to tax queries from administrators
• Prepare taxation fee quotes and assist with billing
• Support training of junior staff
Requirements
• Educated to a minimum of A-level standard (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience
• ATT qualification an advantage (or qualified by experience)
• Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills
• Ability to work to deadlines with a positive, proactive approach
• A strong team player
