Site Manager – New Build Residential
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our growing team, overseeing new build residential projects and ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role,
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of residential construction sites, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily running of new build residential sites.
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to programme.
Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
Carry out site inspections and quality checks.
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
Monitor progress and report to senior management.
Resolve site issues efficiently and professionally.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and health & safety documentation.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience managing new build residential construction sites.
Good understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Site Manager.
SMSTS qualification preferred (SSSTS will be considered for candidates with the right experience).
Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
CSCS Black or Gold Card.
Experience working with NHBC standards and inspections.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
