This company are looking for a motivated Tier 1 SOC Analyst who is passionate about cyber security, eager to keep learning, and ready to play a key role in detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents.

What You’ll Do
Monitor security alerts and events across multiple platforms.
Perform initial triage, analysis, and escalation of security incidents.
Investigate anomalous activity, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Work with senior analysts to improve detection, response playbooks, and SOC maturity.
Contribute to threat intelligence, reporting, and security improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Tier 1 level, or be actively working toward them.
Foundation Certifications (desirable)
CompTIA Security+
BSc Cyber Security
MSc Cyber Security
Tier 1 Certifications (ideal for this role)
Microsoft SC-200: Security Operations Analyst Associate
Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1)
TryHackMe SOC Level 1 / Security Analyst Level 1 (SAL1)
Cyber Essentials Assessor
Tier 2 Certifications (a bonus, not required)

What You Bring
A strong interest in security operations, incident response, and threat detection.
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and documentation skills.
Curiosity, analytical thinking, and a desire to continually improve.
Experience using SIEM, EDR, or security monitoring tools (advantageous but not essential).
