Description
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for Support Worker in the Hereford area. Axcis Education is working on behalf of settings in the local area for a range of long term and short term roles. We are currently searching for a long-term placement, in a school Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm during term time only, with an immediate (but flexible) start date.
Your role will involve working with 2-3 SEND students, in and out of the classroom, this includes support in vocational studies. Day to day, you will help these students stay focused on their lessons, build up rapport with school staff and students and support teachers on adapting lessons to suit the childs needs.
You do not need direct experience working in a classroom setting, although this would be a huge bonus. We do need some relevant experience with young people, or children.
