Teaching Assistant – SEN | Primary & Secondary | L32
Full-Time or Part-Time | February Start

A warm, welcoming, and inclusive SEN school in the L32 area is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team from February. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils across both primary and secondary phases, working with children who have a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD.

The Role
Location: L32 (easily accessible via public transport)
Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible options available)

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support, promoting independence and confidence
• Assist with learning across core subjects, life skills, and creative activities
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and personal care where required
• Help create a safe, calm, and nurturing learning environment
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, celebrating progress and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver consistent, holistic care

• Education or childcare

• Health or social care
• Residential or community support
• Personal or family experience supporting individuals with SEN
