A welcoming, inclusive, and well-established SEN school in the L32 area is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from April 2026. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to support pupils across both primary and secondary phases, working with children and young people with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD.

Whether your background is in education, care, youth work, or you bring valuable lived experience supporting individuals with additional needs, your empathy, enthusiasm, and commitment will be highly valued here.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to promote confidence, independence, and engagement
• Support learning across core subjects, life skills, and creative activities
• Assist with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and personal care where required
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing classroom environment
• Build positive, trusting relationships and celebrate every achievement — big or small
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver consistent, pupil-centred support
• The school is conveniently located in L32 with excellent public transport links.
