Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-established primary school in Eastville, Bristol, starting September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only role (Monday to Friday, 8:30–3:30), offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

The Role:
• Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with additional needs
• Use tailored strategies to support emotional regulation, engagement, and social development
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to deliver consistent support
• Foster independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Support learning both in the classroom and through outdoor activities, including Forest School sessions
The Ideal Candidate:
• Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable, but not essential
• Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young learners
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A passion for inclusive education and child development
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
