A nurturing primary school in the EN8 Waltham Cross area is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception, Early Years and KS1. You will be working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with children who have ASD, are non-verbal, and present complex or behavioural needs. The role involves providing tailored assistance, encouraging communication, and helping pupils engage confidently in daily activities.
The school is seeking someone who:
-Has experience supporting young children with SEN
-Is patient, creative and confident supporting non-verbal pupils
-Can adapt approaches to meet individual needs
-Works well within a caring and collaborative environment
