Teaching Assistant – SEN | Primary School | Waltham Cross (EN8)
Start Date: Beginning after October Half Term 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Cross (EN8) is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team after the October half term. This is a long-term, full-time role supporting pupils with complex needs.

In this rewarding position, you'll be working both in-class and through targeted 1:1 and small group sessions, supporting children with Autism, non-verbal communication, and developmental delays to access learning and achieve their potential.

We’re looking for someone who:

-Has experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and non-verbal needs

-Is confident using alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS or Makaton)

-Brings patience, empathy, and a calm, flexible attitude

-Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
