SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School
• Location: LS28
• Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
• £89+ per day (depending on experience)
• Must have SEND experience & Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Axcis Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEND teaching assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school on a full-time, term-time only basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
The Role:
• Supporting pupils with SEND in a classroom setting
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to aid learning and development
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored support
• Helping creates a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
About You:
• Essential: Previous experience supporting children with SEND
• Essential: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• A caring, patient, and resilient approach to working with children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
