Axcis Education is delighted to be supporting a large, well-established SEND school in the St Helens area. The school caters for pupils aged 4–14 with a diverse range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and complex medical or learning needs.
We’re looking for a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work across various classes, offering personalised support to the children who need it most. If you’re passionate about inclusion and motivated to make a real, lasting impact, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Your Role
Provide 1:1 support for pupils within the classroom.
Help deliver tailored learning plans created by teachers and therapists.
Assist with communication, behaviour regulation, and emotional well-being.
Use creative, engaging approaches to encourage progress and independence.
Work collaboratively with a friendly, dedicated team of professionals.
What We’re Looking For
A patient, compassionate, child-centred mindset.
Experience with SEND is an advantage, but a positive attitude matters most.
Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school environment.
Confidence supporting children of different ages and abilities.
