An independent specialist school in Crosby is seeking dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their team from late June or July 2026.
Supporting pupils aged 8–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, you'll play a key role in helping young people build confidence, develop positive relationships, and re-engage with learning in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The Role
You will:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Encourage engagement, independence, and personal development
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff
