We are seeking a committed and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary SEND school in the Hounslow area from September 2026. This is a full-time, term-time only position offering the opportunity to make a genuine difference in students' lives while working as part of a supportive and experienced team.
Role Details
Location: Hounslow (Secondary SEND School)
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Term-time only
Pay: £92.63 per day (PAYE), starting rate
The Role
You will support students with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop independence both inside and outside the classroom.
The school provides a positive, inclusive environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience working with SEND is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn and develop within a SEND setting.
The role may involve occasional personal care responsibilities. Full support, guidance, and training will be provided where required.
