Teaching Assistant – Tameside (Dukinfield)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90-£100 per day, experiance dependant (PAYE)
Location: Tameside, Dukinfield
Axcis Education is proud to be working in partnership with a local education setting in Dukinfield to recruit experienced, proactive, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants.
We are seeking active and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with significant barriers to learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team that provides a supportive and engaging learning environment.
The Role:
- Working across classrooms to support pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Assisting in the delivery of lessons and providing targeted 1:1 and small group support.
- Supervising and participating in sporting, outward bound, and enrichment activities.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience of working in an educational setting supporting pupils.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Desirable: Experience supporting outdoor learning and outward bound activities.
