Are you passionate about helping children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) reach their potential?
A welcoming and well-established SEN school in the L32 area is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from late June or July 2026. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils across primary and secondary phases with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD.
Whether your experience comes from education, care, youth work, or supporting individuals with additional needs, your enthusiasm and commitment will be valued.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to encourage confidence, independence, and engagement
• Support learning across academic, practical, and creative activities
• Assist with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and personal care where required
• Help create a safe, calm, and nurturing learning environment
• Build positive relationships and celebrate pupil progress
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored support
The school is conveniently located in L32 with excellent public transport links.
