Are you an experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded primary school in Bolton. This temporary position will run until the end of the academic year, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils’ learning, contribute to classroom activities, and work closely with teaching staff to help create an engaging and positive learning environment. The school is committed to providing high-quality support for both students and staff, making this a great setting to develop your skills and build valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils when required
• Assisting with classroom preparation, organisation and behaviour management
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive, flexible and supportive approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
