Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.

Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a high school and provide valuable support to students and teaching staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys helping young people reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and students, providing support both inside and outside the classroom. You may be required to support students with their learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and general development.
• Supporting students in the classroom and during lessons
• Working alongside teachers to help students access the curriculum
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Supporting students with additional learning and behavioural needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping students develop confidence, independence and social skills
• Assisting with classroom activities and preparation
• Building positive and professional relationships with students and staff
• Following the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, resilience and a positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A professional approach to safeguarding and confidentiality
• Must hold a valid Child and Adult DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their DBS status
Relevant qualifications and experience in education, SEN, childcare, youth work or similar settings would be advantageous.
