Classroom Teaching Assistant – Mainstream with SEND Support
Location: OL10
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Agency, term time only
Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Axcis Education is seeking a friendly and welcoming primary school in Trafford is seeking a teaching assistant to support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, including children with additional learning needs within a mainstream setting.

The Role
You will:
• Assist teachers within the classroom and lead small group interventions
• Support pupils with mild to moderate SEND, including ADHD and dyslexia
• Help deliver differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
You are:
• Energetic, adaptable, and empathetic
• Either experienced in schools or looking to begin your career in education (with a strong awareness of SEND)
• Confident supporting children with additional needs in a mainstream setting
• Passionate about making learning accessible for all pupils
• A strong communicator and team player
