• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Pay: £90–£95 per day (PAYE)

Axcis Education is recruiting a dedicated teaching assistant to work in a primary SEMH school in Salisbury. This full-time role is ideal for a teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a structured, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities for the teaching assistant include:
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs
• Supporting pupils to regulate emotions and engage with learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and interventions
• Working closely with the wider school team to follow support plans

The ideal teaching assistant will:

• Have experience or an interest in SEMH or SEND settings
