SEND Teaching Assistants – Chorley
Axcis Education is recruiting enthusiastic, confident and proactive SEND Teaching Assistants for opportunities across the Chorley area!
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? Are you reliable, adaptable and someone who isn't afraid to get stuck in? We'd love to hear from you!
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
• At least 6 months' relevant UK SEND experience, gained through:
• Paid employment in a school, specialist setting or similar environment.
• Extensive personal experience caring for a family member with SEND.
• Voluntary experience supporting children or adults with SEND.
• Be aged 18 or over.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Be available Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
• Be confident, proactive, reliable and ready to get stuck in.
• Be able to travel reliably across Chorley and surrounding areas, particularly the PR6 postcode area.
• Have an overseas police clearance certificate for any country where you have spent six months or more within the last five years (where applicable).
Placements are available across Chorley, with a particular focus on PR6.
Reliable travel to PR6 is essential. Candidates unable to commute across Chorley and the surrounding areas will not be suitable.
