Axcis Education is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a primary school on an immediate-start basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential. Previous experience working in a school or classroom environment is desirable, but we are also happy to consider candidates from a care background who are willing to learn and develop their skills within education.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a genuine passion for working with children
• Provide support to pupils both inside and outside the classroom
• Work alongside the class teacher to support learning and development
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Be patient, caring, reliable and enthusiastic
• Be willing to learn and take direction from experienced school staff
Requirements:
• Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service – essential
• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• Candidates with a care background are encouraged to apply
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children
