Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Yeovil
Pay: £90–£95/day PAYE
Hours: 08:30–15:30, Mon–Fri, term-time

Axcis Education is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs in a primary school in Yeovil.

Key responsibilities:

• Support a child with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis as a Teaching Assistant
• Assist the pupil in accessing learning and developing social, emotional, and independence skills
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team as a Teaching Assistant
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Professional or personal experience working with SEND or young people is desirable
• Patience, flexibility, and understanding
• Good communication and teamwork skills
