Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the classroom every day? Axis Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a supportive academy team this September.

About the Role:
As a teaching assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students reach their full potential by providing personalised support both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to enhance lesson delivery and provide 1:1 or small group assistance where needed.

Responsibilities:
• Support students with their learning, helping them stay engaged and motivated
• Assist classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education
• Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Provide support for students with additional needs to ensure equal access to the curriculum
• Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or young people (in schools or similar settings)
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for education and student development
• Relevant qualifications or TA training (desirable but not essential)
