Axcis Education are currently seeking a teaching assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their learning and development.
The school is small but well resourced, with a warm, friendly atmosphere that is evident as soon as you enter the grounds. Staff work closely together to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all pupils.
The Role:
• Location: OL8
• Employer: Axcis Education
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
• Contract: Agency, term time only
• Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Supporting a small group of children within the primary setting
• Working with pupils who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support
• Helping pupils to access the curriculum and develop confidence and independence
• Creating a positive, calm, and encouraging learning environment
Requirements:
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• A genuine interest in supporting children with SEND
• Limited experience will be considered, provided you demonstrate the right attitude and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Reliability and a proactive approach
