Teaching Assistant (SEND) - Wirral - From £13.79
We are currently seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special needs school, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND and helping them reach their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment.
The role includes:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and behaviour
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals
Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people (school, care, or support settings)
Is patient, calm, and resilient, particularly when supporting challenging behaviour
Has a genuine interest in SEND and inclusive education
Is reliable, compassionate, and committed to making a difference
