Location: L32
Start Date: Late February / Early March 2026
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible Options Available)

Are you passionate about helping children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) reach their full potential?

A warm, welcoming, and inclusive SEN school in the L32 area is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team from late February / early March. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils across both primary and secondary phases, working with children with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Whether your experience comes from education, care, support work—or from personal and lived experience supporting individuals with SEN—your enthusiasm, empathy, and commitment will be truly valued.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support, promoting independence, confidence, and engagement
• Support learning across core subjects, life skills, and creative activities
• Assist pupils with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and personal care where required
• Help create a safe, calm, and nurturing learning environment
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, celebrating progress, wellbeing, and achievements
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff to deliver consistent, holistic support
• Location: L32 – easily accessible via public transport

• Personal or family experience supporting individuals with SEN
