Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant – Primary PRU (Full-Time)

?? Pay: £100 – £120 per day

We are seeking a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the M13 area. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them to re-engage with learning in a structured and supportive environment.
?? A valid Team Teach certificate is essential for this role. Applications without Team Teach training will not be considered.
The Role:
• Supporting primary-aged pupils within a PRU setting
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with Team Teach principles
• Supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupil progress
• Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and consistent learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
• Must hold a Team Teach certificate (essential)
• Experience working in a PRU, SEMH, or SEN setting (highly desirable, but not required)
• Confident and calm when managing challenging behaviour
• Patient, resilient, and empathetic
• Committed to supporting vulnerable pupils
