the role.
In this varied role, you will be key in providing support to operations and engineering by managing requisitions for goods and services and CAPEX technical projects as well ag being the CMMS Administrator.
You will play a pivotal part in cost reduction from the design through the production life of the purchased equipment. You will be locating suppliers, and discussing quality, capacity, delivery and cost. Perform regular assessments of suppliers and recommend improvements where required. You will also make procurement decisions and recommendations for alternative suppliers. Part of the role will be to negotiate statements of works, supply and warranty agreements, and the preparation of purchase orders and any amendments. The spare parts warehouse will also be under your wing, ensuring they are both maintained, organised and that spare parts are kept and a relevant level.

You will have experience working within an engineering firm/department and have an understanding of the terminology and equipment used, demonstrate experience of continual improvement, report writing and inventory analysis.
