New role for an established freight forwarder based at Heathrow looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor to join their Time Critical team

Monday to Friday
09:00am to 18:00pm
Salary: Up to £50,000.00
25 days holiday per annum

Role will involve ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational team, this will include training, supervising, and motivating teams, resolving operational challenges, and facilitating clear communication between staff and management.

Essential Skills & Experience -

Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding with a strong operational background in international and domestic logistics.
Proven background in time-critical freight forwarding and aviation AOG shipments
Proven track record managing time-critical shipments, including AOG, expedited freight, and Next-Flight-Out services.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure communications and provide timely updates to demanding clients.
Solid understanding of UK import/export customs procedures, including documentation, clearance, and coordination with brokers and government agencies
Full knowledge of IATA regulations
