An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading international financial services provider for an ambitious individual to launch their career in insurance claims assessment. This Guernsey-based role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, structured environment and is eager to gain recognised industry qualifications while gaining real-world experience.

Role Overview
As a Trainee Claims Administrator, you will support the delivery of high-quality claims administration services. This involves maintaining strong client and broker relationships, responding promptly to communications, and ensuring all claims processes are followed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive claims administration assistance, including report generation, database management, and documentation processing.
• Liaise with brokers, clients, medical professionals, reinsurers, and internal departments across jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and treaty requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor outsourced service providers and third-party consultants.
• Respond to client and broker queries in a clear, professional manner – both verbally and in writing.
• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative efforts across Claims and Underwriting.

What You’ll Need
• A business-related degree (essential).
• Office-based experience and familiarity with professional environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – confident dealing with people at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain composed in a busy, varied workload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A positive attitude toward continuous learning and professional development.
