Role: Trainee Internal Sales
Industry: Electrical Wholesale / Distribution
Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, and Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Overview:
Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for a Trainee Internal Sales person to join our successful Electrical Distributor client, based in Southampton.
Benefits:
• Negotiable salary DOE
• Bonus scheme
• 25 days holidays + BH
• Early finishes on a Friday
• Private medical care (after probation)
• No weekend working
Responsibilities will include:
• Regular phone contact of customers to secure orders on products
• Raising quotations for customer orders
• Progressing queries
• Setting up new customers payments terms
• Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, back orders
• Take part in on-the job training and any other training required for the role
Skills Required:
• Willingness to learn and an interest in the industrial electrical industry
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Computer literate (incl. Microsoft Office)
• Team player
