Description
I am currently recruiting for a full-time teaching assistant to work within a PRU on the Wirral. This is a non-curriculum-based unit for students with a range of complex needs such as challenging behaviour, SEMH and Autism. As a teaching assistant, you must be open to supporting children with a variety of SEND. You may be required to work across several age groups, so flexibility is essential.
This unit offers impressive training and career progression opportunities to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students. It is imperative that all staff working at the school are enthusiastic, passionate, caring and dedicated to the students and the school.
A successful teaching assistant will have the following:
• Experience working in a special school or care setting.
• Knowledge of SEND and prior experience.
• A willingness to engage in activities with the children.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be reliable and consistent.
• Be available during the working hours 8.30am – 4:15pm and able to commit to a full-time role (term-time only)
