Vehicle Technician – Croydon
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
1 in 3 Saturday mornings: 08:00 – 13:00 (paid at 1.5x overtime rate)
Salary:
Basic £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience and brand accreditation)
OTE: £12,000+
Our client, a reputable main dealer in Croydon, is seeking a skilled and versatile Vehicle Technician with a valid MOT licence to join their busy workshop. This role requires someone who is happy to carry out both MOT testing and standard servicing and repair work as part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
Perform servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles
Diagnose and repair faults efficiently using diagnostic tools
Complete all work to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction
Follow manufacturer and dealership processes and safety guidelines
Requirements:
MOT testing licence (essential)
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Previous experience in a main dealer environment is highly desirable
Confident in both diagnostic and mechanical work
Full UK driving licence
