New Role for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join a very well established Logistics company based in Ashford, Middlesex.

Hours Mon - Fri
Salary 37,500K

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day planning and overall Supervision of all warehouse operations, including staff, workloads and building maintenance.

Duties to include
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, making the most efficient use of resources
• Ensure that all procedures are followed and detailed records are kept, for Goods In, Goods Out,
Quarantine and other processes
• Manage stock control: the goods receipt, storage, retrieval and timely picking of goods,
shipment loading & transferring, document recording and data entry into system
• Investigate and report on any warehouse issues for damaged or missing stock
• Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
• Issue Inventory reports to customer.
• You may on occasion be required to work in other sites as workload dictates

Key Attributes required from Candidate
• A minimum experience level as a Warehouse Team Leader in a high value, environment is
essential
• Sound hands on management skills with the skill of giving direction and support
• A good understanding of transport operations as preparation of equipment for loading is
fundamental
• Excellent IT knowledge and warehouse systems knowledge essential, as this is a process driven
environment
• Commercially astute with direct customer service experience of working closely with customers
on a regular basis is essential
• Good communications skills are required as liaising with other departments and customer is
essential
• A flexible and can-do attitude
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Warehouse Admin, stock control including perpetual stock checks and reporting
• Good People management skills
• Counter Balance, Reach Truck, Fork Lift Truck, Powered Pedestrian Truck and driving licences
