Our established client who specialises in perishable / temperature controlled goods are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor based in Feltham

Role duties would include
Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is prepared for each shift and support the smooth unloading, packing and delivery process.
Operating X-Ray scanning and MDE to inspect and evaluate the contents of freight shipments for security and compliance with relevant import/export regulations
Identifying potential security threats and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
Reporting & Document suspicious & non compliant cargo to the warehouse director.
Communicating security and compliance issues to the relevant authorities
Performing routine daily checks on Xray Screen Equipment.

Ideal candidate will have
Experience in Temperature controlled perishables goods
Previous experience operating X-ray screening equipment is preferred.
Forklift trained
Knowledge of customs and security regulations related to freight and cargo.
Attention to detail and the ability to detect irregularities in X-ray images.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Working hours 0600 - 1800 hrs 4 on 4 off

Salary 30K - 35K subject to experience
