Youth Worker – 1:1 Primary School Support (Wirral) from £13.79 Per Hour
We are currently seeking a caring and resilient Youth Worker to provide 1:1 support for pupils in primary school settings. This role involves supporting children with ADHD and challenging behaviour, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop appropriate emotional and behavioural skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with individual pupils who require additional support throughout the school day, building strong, trusting relationships and providing consistent guidance.
The role includes:
Providing 1:1 support to primary-aged pupils with ADHD and behavioural needs
Supporting emotional regulation, focus, and positive behaviour in the classroom
Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
Encouraging social skills, confidence, and positive engagement with learning
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children (youth work, schools, childcare, or similar)
Is patient, calm, and confident when managing challenging behaviour
Has an understanding of ADHD and SEND needs (or a willingness to learn)
Is reliable, nurturing, and committed to supporting young learners
