• A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience
• Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post
• At least 3 years' experience in the operation or maintenance of satellite ground terminals/stations or related systems, such as radars or Line-Of-Sight systems
• Proven experience on Antenna sub-system, including: Radome, feed horn, reflector, pedestal, waveguides, tracking receiver, servo and drive equipment
• Proven experience on Transmit and receive chains, including: up and down converters, Low Noise Amplifiers, High Power Amplifiers
• Proven experience on MODEMs, Electronic Protected Modem Systems (EMS), cryptographic equipment, routers, switches
• Proven experience on Computer-assisted Monitor and Control System (M&CS)
• Proven experience on GPS-disciplined Frequency Reference Standards, and associated distribution systems
• In-depth knowledge of digital techniques
• Experience in TCP/IP fundamentals, including security; video transmission principles; and telecommunications quality assurance practices
• Experience on Servo-mechanisms; and Emergency power generating systems
• Experience in The development, implementation, fielding, testing and maintenance of modern communications equipment
• Experience on on-line performance, accounting, fault, security and configuration management of digital networks and associated transmission systems, to include; packet switching systems in support of voice & data transfer
• Familiarity with related international/commercial/industrial standards;&A Master of Science degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline; and 5 years post-related experience
• Technical leadership experience
• Proven success as a operational team lead and mentor
• Experience on AC Power distribution equipment, emergency AC Power generation and associated fuel storage, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
• Experience on Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Experience Digital-Line-of-Sight (DLOS), Fibre-Optic cables, and other tail systems
• Experience in Logistic Support; managing the supply and replenishment of spare parts, dispatch of faulty units for repair
• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT
