Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised travel and leisure group operating across more than 70 countries. This international organisation, known for its portfolio of iconic brands, is seeking to recruit a Accounts Receivable Administrator to join its group finance function based in St Peter Port.

This role offers flexibility in working arrangements and is open to candidates from all backgrounds – including school leavers – who are motivated and eager to develop their skills in a professional finance environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Accountant, you will work closely with sales, reservations, and accounts teams across multiple international locations. You will be responsible for accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of transactions, ensuring compliance with agreed payment terms and supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities
• Liaising with sales representatives, travel agents, and accounts teams
• Allocating and reconciling cash for multiple entities
• Processing journal adjustments and refunds
• Preparing monthly statements
• Monitoring outstanding balances and chasing payments in line with debt collection policies
• Assisting the Group Accountant with ad hoc tasks

About You
• Previous experience in an accounts role is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with colleagues worldwide
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn, with a proactive approach
